So, who out there has done any of the Pearl colors? I have black 15" Sparco Assetto Gara wheels, and I have decided I want white. No one has 15" in white, in fact it seems they may not even make them in white in 15".... plastidip is the obvious quick-and-dirty way to go about correcting this. My question is this: has anyone used the Pearlizer on wheels? how does it hold up? how does it look? I like the idea of pearl finish, but would be happy with plain gloss if it’s not worth the extra $$.

I also keep toying with the idea of the Blue Glow, but I think I might be crazy....

No idea about the pearl-izer stuff, but I do know that well-applied Plast-Dip lasts a LONG time. I “dipped” my smart’s badges a year ago. Survived many car washes, storms, and even a harsh Winter, still looks great. When I had my factory wheels dipped, they also lasted an absurd amount of time.

I plastidipped the wheels on our Jetta about 2 years ago and while materially it has held up reasonably well, it’s an incredible dirt magnet and a real bitch to clean.

Gloss white man. Have you ever considered maybe using an off white? Ive always liked how offwhite goes with orange. http://www.ebbets.com/product/Pauls-…
Im seriously considering using these guys to dip my car, just a little nervous at the wear and tear on the coating. Yas marina blue-ish would be my choice on my e46 sedan.
